Middle Creek is a Wake County public high school. If your family is moving into the attendance zone, the coaching staff wants to hear from you now — not in August. The interest form below has a line for families who have not moved yet, so Coach Holota can plan a roster around players who are on the way.
Middle Creek reached the NCHSAA 1A–6A state final and lost it in overtime. Reed Stack scored three goals in twenty seconds in the fourth quarter — 7–6, 7–7, 8–8 — to force the tie, finishing with four. The season ends at 24–5 overall, 12–2 in the SWAC, sixth in the state.
The second state championship in program history, decided on a goal with ten seconds on the clock. The 2022 team finished 23–2, 13–1 in the SWAC, ranked first in North Carolina.
A perfect season, finished with a 17–8 win over Lake Norman in the 4A final. The winning streak reached 43 straight games — a state record.

Seven players from the 2021 team went on to play college lacrosse. Five from the 2020 class did the same — three of them at Division I.
