A lot of our families find this page from another state, with a house hunt still open and a son who wants to know whether he'll have a team. You do not need a Wake County address, a signed lease or an enrolment number to talk to us. Tell us you're coming and we will keep you on the list from wherever you are.

Middle Creek is a Wake County Public School System school and enrolment follows the county's assignment rules. Ask us which neighbourhoods feed here before you commit to an address — it is a five-minute conversation and it saves families a lot of grief.
Workouts, open field sessions and tryout dates are published on the Schedule page and announced first on Instagram. We will send you the current dates when you write in.
Home games are open. If you are in town on a scouting trip, tell us the dates and we will point you at a game worth driving to.

Program history
Middle Creek has won the NCHSAA 4A men's lacrosse state championship twice: in 2017 and again in 2022. Everything else on this page is conference silverware and seasons that came close.
First title in school history
A perfect season. Middle Creek went unbeaten and beat Lake Norman in the 4A final. The run pushed the program's winning streak to 43 straight games — a state record.
Second title — won in the last ten seconds
Middle Creek beat Weddington 9–8 in the 4A final on a goal with ten seconds left on the clock. The team finished the year ranked first in the state.

Schedule & results
2026 finished 24–5 and sixth in the state. In the state tournament Middle Creek beat South Brunswick 18–2, East Chapel Hill 16–1, Croatan 8–4 and Union Pines 17–5, then lost the state final 9–8 to Charlotte Catholic in overtime on 29 May 2026 — one goal from a third state championship.

Seven players from the 2021 team went on to play in college. Five from the 2020 class did the same — three of them at Division I.
